We developed individual designs that represent a complete break from the classic Deutsche Bahn design elements and are location-defining for four selected, extremely busy metropolitan railway stations in Hamburg, “Berliner Tor”, “Bergedorf”, “Sternschanze” and “Holstenstrasse”. The extensive refurbishment of the stations focused on a visual upgrade that was realised in a graphic design and illustrative way with the aid of mainly artistic elements such as street art designs and pop art style images.
