In the course of a major refurbishment, this grand hotel in the heart of the old city centre will be updated with a contemporary design concept that takes its period features into account.
The defining pastel shades used for the public areas bring the neighbouring park indoors. The shapes, textures and different light sources fill the generous spaces with life.
The foyer’s chequerboard floor was also used in the café, where it is complemented by a French-style interior.
The black-and-white room concept strikingly contrasts the colours in the public areas, which gradually become more reduced in the corridors leading to the rooms, thereby drawing your eye to the linear design language. The classic, elegant room and suite furnishings look severe, yet also welcoming.
