The airport lounge in the Terminal 1 extension invites passengers to spend their waiting time in a welcoming atmosphere, featuring cosy relaxation areas, secluded family retreats and a variety of buffet and dining options. In terms of interior design, the space echoes the overarching \u201eBavarian Soul\u201c design concept of the terminal extension, which draws on regional cultural references and interprets them in a subtle yet modern way.<\/p>\n

The lounge spans 1,250 square metres across two floors, with large windows facing the airfield on two sides to let in plenty of daylight. A soft, natural colour palette forms the basis of the colour concept and is accentuated with rich red and blue tones. The variation in flooring, ceiling panels and partitions structures the overall space, creating cosy zones that counterbalance the size and height of the room.<\/p>\n
