Competition Weinerlebniszentrum, (Wine Adventure Centre) Mainz

The task was to re-design a historical wine-storage building in the Customs harbour in Mainz, converting it into a wine experience and adventure centre. This historical building was very carefully re-planned and with a few changes was developed in to a three storey, Production - Wine tasting – Cultural-venue. Three themes, three separate atmospheres and colouring make the design stand out. The entrance-building marks the entrance and serves as a multi-purpose hall, leading visitors underground to where the journey in the “world of wine” starts.
